Ashton & Ninia |
Felix & Caterina Caterina joined the Resistance because of Felix. They had met briefly at a children anger management support group that Caterina's family had been forced to send the girl to when she was eight by a court order. Felix was there due to an incident at the boarding orphanage he lived at. Caterina, for an un-explainable reason, stood up in the middle of the session, knocking her chair back, and proclaimed Felix as her Prince. Visible panicked Felix had screamed and dived behind the instructor only to be tackled and held down by Caterina as she tried to 'Seal it with a kiss!' It took two security guards to rip her away from a fainted Felix.
Eventually forgetting the incident as many children do with the object of a temper-tantrum Caterina was twenty-one when her parents decided to back the Resistance with their massive fortunes as an investment opportunity. They sent Caterina as a trade, desperate to find something for the girl to do with her time. Things never quite went their way though when Caterina was re-introduced to Felix, finally. She's sworn to never let him leave her again, or else... They have formed a sort of strange... friendship out of it all but things are still tense with Felix's always budding crush on Zen. |
Zen & Felix Felix met Zen the day of his sevententh birthday when he joined the Resistance. He was completely at awe with the tall, kindly creature. High born dragons were nearly extinct and even seeing one in a lifetime would be a huge deal so to be working with one... It must have been painfully obvious to the others at the introduction how taken he was at first sight because Felix had gone from a sarcastic, eye-roller to a stammering and quiet, well-behaved lad.
They didn't see much of each other for a while after that. Felix mostly stuck around the base, tinkering with the gadgets and getting a foothold in the Resistance while Zen was their information outlet for the mythical contacts so he was often out. Though whenever Zen was around he always took time to try to get to know Felix, just as he had with all the members when they joined. He grew to greatly enjoy Felix's company though so often he sought out the man even when he didn't have much time to spare. Zen found a calming comfort in Felix's little outbursts as he worked closely on some panel board or his boisterous cheers when he finally beat a challenging computer game, even if Felix always just seemed a little distant with him. |
